Funding & Transfers

Register, deposit, withdraw, and move collateral between exchanges without leaving ProFunding.

The Accounts rail

The left rail on the Trade page is your account hub. Connected exchanges appear first with balances and a status dot; exchanges you haven't connected sit below as quiet rows; HIP-3 sub-DEX markets are nested under Hyperliquid. Sessions that are about to expire show an amber dot with an extend prompt.

Each account row exposes exactly the actions its exchange supports: deposit, withdraw, transfer, convert. If a button isn't there, the venue doesn't support that action through ProFunding yet. The rail is the truth-teller, so you never have to memorize a support matrix.

Registering

You don't need to visit an exchange's website to start trading on it.

  • In-app registration. On supported exchanges, connecting a wallet that has no account yet switches the connect dialog to create mode: one signature registers the account, and a referral code is bound automatically so the partner perks apply from your first trade.
  • Deposit-first onboarding. Other exchanges create the account through your first deposit: fund it in-app, and ProFunding finishes the setup (trading keys, referral bind) as soon as the account exists.

When you pick an opportunity that needs an exchange you're not set up on, the per-trade Setup Checklist walks you through register, fund, and connect for exactly the two DEXes that pair needs.

Deposits

In-app deposits are powered by cross-chain routing (LI.FI), so you can fund an exchange from wherever your money already is:

  • Pay with stablecoins (USDC, USDT) from Arbitrum, Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, or BNB Chain, or with native ETH/BNB, which is swapped automatically
  • A live quote shows what arrives, the routing fee, and the minimum before you sign anything
  • Funds land as the exchange's native collateral; if the venue settles in a different asset, the route swaps automatically on the way in

Withdrawals

Where supported, withdraw straight to your own wallet from the account row. Fees and estimated arrival time are shown up front; some venues settle in about a minute, others take longer. Nothing moves until you sign.

Cross-DEX transfer

Move collateral from one exchange to another in a single orchestrated flow: withdraw from the source → funds land in your wallet → deposit into the destination.

What to know:

  • Non-custodial. Between the two legs the money sits in your own wallet, never anywhere else.
  • Resumable. The flow is not atomic, so every step is checkpointed. Close the tab mid-transfer and a resume banner picks up where you left off, on any device.
  • Previewed. Before you start, a live "arrives ≈" estimate accounts for withdraw fees, deposit fees, and any routing along the way.
  • Never marked failed silently. A rejected signature or a slow arrival leaves the transfer paused, not dead. You choose to resume or cancel.

Use it to chase a better opportunity without a manual withdraw-bridge-deposit round trip.

Hyperliquid spot ↔ perp

Hyperliquid balances can be moved between the spot wallet and perp clearinghouses in-app. That includes funding HIP-3 sub-DEX clearinghouses (which settle in their own collateral) and pulling free collateral back out.

Stablecoin convert

Convert between USDC and USDT0 / USDE / USDH from the balance row where supported. Useful when a venue or HIP-3 market settles in a stable you don't hold. Also available to your AI via the convert_stablecoin MCP tool.

FAQ

Do I need to visit an exchange's own website to open an account?

No. On supported exchanges, connecting a wallet with no existing account switches the connect dialog to create mode — one signature registers the account and binds a referral code automatically. Others use deposit-first onboarding, where funding the account in-app completes setup.

Can I deposit with any stablecoin from any chain?

Deposits route cross-chain via LI.FI, so you can pay with USDC or USDT from Arbitrum, Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, or BNB Chain, or native ETH/BNB which is swapped automatically. A live quote shows what arrives and the routing fee before you sign.

How does cross-DEX transfer work?

It withdraws from the source exchange, lands funds in your own wallet, then deposits into the destination — non-custodial the whole way. The flow is resumable: closing the tab mid-transfer leaves a resume banner that picks up where you left off, on any device.

What happens if a cross-DEX transfer fails partway through?

It's never marked failed silently — a rejected signature or a slow arrival leaves the transfer paused, not dead, and you choose to resume or cancel.
